Our client, an established transportation company in Carleton MI, is looking to add a Dispatch Clerk to their team!
Pay for this position is $12.50/ hour. Work hours are Monday through Friday, from approximately 12:00 PM-8:30 AM. (Candidates will train on days, but this opening is on midnight's)
This is a contract-to-hire opportunity.
Job Description: The dispatch clerk will support the quality system, and internet sites. They will also be responsible for recording track numbers, and input data entry into the computer system.
Dispatch Clerk Duties:
Update and support computer system and internet websites
Record tracking numbers and record route numbers
Assist in general clerical duties
Work on a computer and assist the dispatchers as necessary
Other duties as assigned
Dispatch Clerk Requirements:
Candidate must have good/proficient computer skills
Transportation background is preferred
Excellent communication skills
Must be computer literate
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
Must have a valid driver's license
