Our client, a global manufacturing organization is searching for a Mail Room Clerk. The Mail Room Clerk will provide aide to the company on all mail services as well as provide backup support to the Receptionist.
Pay Range for the Mail Room Clerk is $11.00 per hour based on experience. Work schedule is Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
This is a temporary position with the possibility of going permanent.
Mail Room Clerk Job Duties:
·Receive, sort, and load mail on delivery carts.
· Distribute mail and shipments to appropriate recipients.
·Follow time sensitive pick-up delivery schedule.
·Maintain written record of incoming deliveries from FedEx, UPS, and DHL.
·Ensure physical delivery of outgoing mail to post office.
· Assist in maintaining adequate shipping, postage, and office supply inventory.
·Able to perform receptionist duties including greetings guests and properly routing telephone calls to the appropriate parties.
· Able to lift 50lbs.
Mail Room Clerk Job Requirements:
· High school education.
· Must be able to pass a criminal background check and a drug test.
· Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Mail Room Clerk Skills Needed:
· Proficient in Internet navigation, Microsoft Word and Excel.
