Inside Sales Representative

Novi, MI - Temporary to Full Time

Our client currently looking for an experienced Spare Parts Inside Sales assistant who can bring their level of office experience to our Customer Service and Spare Parts Department. You will support the Spare Parts Team efforts in providing customer support in a fast-paced aftermarket sales environment. 

Pay Rate for the inside sales position is $14-$16 per hour.  Work Hours are Monday – Friday 8am-5pm.

This is a Temporary to hire position. 

Inside Sales Job Functions:

  • Support and assist in developing the Spare Parts/Inside Sales Group’s efforts to service customer's needs effectively and efficiently while meeting growth and profitability goals. Utilize past and day-to-day experiences to actively participate in the departments continued development and implementation of proactive strategies.
  • Receive customer correspondence (phone calls, faxes, emails, etc.)
  • Enter quotations from customer inquiries. Process quotations and orders, and complete the order cycle by following up with shipment department and in ACT
  • Proactively follow-up on quotes for parts and services
  • Work with the Service Team to fulfill requests and issues regarding an on-site service visit, and process service quotations and orders through the system
  • Coordinate the handling of any technical issues between customers and service team
  • Keeping customer contact information up-to-date in our CRM system (ACT)
  • Collect and internally communicate customer feedback regarding business conditions
  • Work alongside other internal teams to develop, implement, and maintain a proactive sales and marketing approach for the distribution of parts and services
  • Actively brainstorm ideas to improve the group’s effectiveness and efficiency
  • Ability to clearly communicate goals and objectives to team members at all levels
  • Able to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in order of urgency and importance

Inside Sales Requirements:

  • Experience working within a customer service or sales environment
  • Experience with an ERP system is preferred
  • Experience with CRM – Customer Relation Software is preferred
  • Experience in usage of Microsoft Outlook and similar paths of communication
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to work required
  • Associate’s degree preferred
  • 2- 3 years of experience in related field preferred
